Now that the insanity of the holidays has past, it’s back to reality. My kids have been in entertainment overdrive for the last two weeks and we are all exhausted. I have no energy for any project that needs my involvement or assistance. So………………………….my next post will be a science project, but this one is simple and completely uninvolved. We did it at our Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) class this morning (Yeah, Teacher Lisa!)
All you need is snow and watercolor paint. We have plenty of snow here in Minnesota, but if snow’s not available, you can use ice cubes. Simply put a bunch of snow in a sink or a in a cake pan on the table. Give your child a set of watercolor paints, a cup of water and let them paint the snow. It’s a perfect January project and you will be amazed at how much fun they’ll have!
